It looks like Amazon is getting a head start with early Black Friday Lightning Deals this week, starting today with Lego deals! I know many of you have Legos on your Christmas lists, so you’ll want to watch these lightning deals to see what will come up! I’ll try to remind you guys on Facebook, too, when a deal is about to go live!
Make sure to check out the schedule of upcoming Lightning deals over at Amazon. You can look at all the categories or check a specific category in the drop-down menu They will not always tell you the specific deal that will be featured (especially for the *hot* deals) but they will give you a hint. They have featured Lego deals all morning, so it looks like they will be featuring them all day long. The next Lego deal is 11am pst. Lightning deals happen on the hour and there are several possibilities for Lego deals throughout today.
Lightning deals can go very quickly – this last one was getting major traffic & it was 100% claimed within a few minutes (I couldn’t even get my browser to load the deal since there was so much traffic). You’ll want to start looking a few minutes before the hour and then once the deal comes live, put it in your cart right away. You then have 15 minutes to decide if you want to buy the deal.
If you miss it, try getting on the wait list right away – many people will automatically put the item in their cart but then start searching to make sure that’s the best price they will find. I know a number of people who still snagged those awesome deals last year with the Lightning deals since they got on the Wait List right away & stuck by their computer until that 15 minute waiting period was up!
Make sure to check out price comparison sites such as PriceGrabber.com or Nextag.com to make sure there aren’t any better deals on Legos right then. For example, Toys R Us is having 25% off select Legos both in-store and online this week. Plus you’ll get a FREE Minifigure Display Case with any Lego purchase of $60 or more. They are also offering FREE shipping right now at ToysRUs.com. So, keep that in mind when you’re looking at the Amazon deals.

- 7am pst: Lego Champions – $17.99 (regularly $34.99 – 49% off) – I did find this at Target 50% off on an end-cap for $17.49 – so this Amazon price was great!
- 9am pst: Lego Star Wars Emperor Palpatine’s Shuttle – $29.99 (regularly $59.99) – 50% off! This sold out in just a few minutes! It’s now gone!
- 11am pst: It’s Harvest time on the Farm
- 12pm pst: Can Dr. Brains outwit the angry Hammerhead guardian to retrieve the treasure chest and legendary body armor?
- 1pm pst: Battle for Weapons & Glory
- 3pm pst: Build your own Airport
- 5pm pst: The Mummy King Ramses is planning on conquering all of Egypt with his army of mummies!
