We are going to have Twice the Value Coupons again this week and the rumor is that we will have them EVERY week through Thanksgiving. The in-ad coupons state on them that they cannot be combined with Twice the Value coupons…
Annie- Which deal are you referring to?
Any of the in-ad coupons. Like the C&H Sugar. It states on them that we cannot combine it with a TTV coupon.
Annie – Thank you – I don’t know why I didn’t see that in the post – there were 2 in there – the C&H & the Progresso soup. You’re right in that the Twice the Value coupon is a store coupon as is the in-ad coupon. Per Albertson’s coupon policy, you cannot use 2 store coupons for 1 product – so either the Twice the Value coupon with the manufacturer’s coupon – or the manufacturer’s coupon paired with the in-ad coupon. I will update the post!
There’s a coupon in today’s SmartSource for $1 off 2 Hershey’s chocolate chips – they are part of the buy 10, save $3 promotion – with doublers it makes them $0.69 each.
So, we went to an Albertsons in Bellevue and the cashier wouldn’t allow me to use my $1 off coupons for the $.89 Bestlife Butter. Apparently, because it’s dairy? I didn’t want to argue and we were rushing to go back to Canada. It was a pretty good deal anyway so I just used my $.50 coupons. However, now I’m thinking maybe I should’ve fought for it a little since I was able to use $1 off coupons on ICBINB at Target without question. Next time!
