Tomorrrow on Labor Day, Monday September 6th, Value Village stores will be offering select items 50% off. {US stores only.}I love checking out thrift stores, especially during sales, as you can often find some fabulous deals, especially on name-brand clothing if you search well. Just beware that it can get pretty busy (and picked over} on their Monday holiday sale days, so you might want to get there early. Any time there is a holiday on a Monday (President’s day, Martin Luther King day, etc) they typically offer 50% off.

- Items tagged Bed & Bath
The sale excludes new merchandise (with red tags), books & items tagged housewares or furniture.

My favorite items to look for are often books – children’s books as well as adult books. I absolutely love a good book, but I hate to pay full-price for a book that I’ll read in a few days. So, I either look at my local library or the thrift store. I’ll admit that I’m often a bit forgetful about returning the library books, though, making it not as thrifty of an option those times! :O
