As I announced on the Thrifty NW Mom Facebook Fan page, my sweet husband just arrived home from picking blueberries& brought the Seattle Times early edition paper with him. And guess what – there were 3 Albertson’s Twice -the-Value (or doubler) coupons! I was a little skeptical this week if we were definitely going to get them, but it has been a few weeks since the last ones. And this week we’re actually home so I can take full-advantage. Hope you can too! These doublers are good from Sunday 8/29 – Tuesday 8/31/10.
If your paper for some reason does not have the doublers or if you want more, remember that you can always ask your Customer Service desk at Albertsons, where they should give you at least 1 copy.
Rules on using Albertson’s Twice – the – Value Coupons:
-You can use up to 3 doublers in a transaction.
-You can double the value of a coupon up to $1
-You can now double coupons that say “Do Not Double” – this is an official policy now for Albertson’s stores. I’ve never had issues at my stores, but some stores have not allowed coupons to be doubled that say “Do Not Double”.
Scenarios for FREE Items using your Albertson’s doublers:
Buy {5} Kraft salad dressing – $1.34/ea = $6.70 (My store only had Zesty Italian & Ranch priced at $1.34-your store may vary)
Use {5} $.35/1 peelie coupons (found on product)
Use {3} Albertson’s doubler coupons
Pay $4.60 for three, Receive a $5 catalina (this will print at the register to use on future transaction)
Final Price: FREE
{Queen Bee Coupons is also reporting that you may find a tear pad for $1 in free produce when you buy 2 Kraft dressings – in this scenario, you’d be able to get $2 in FREE produce!}
Arrowhead water (6-packs) – $1/ea
Use $1/2 peelie coupons (varies by store if these are available) or $1/2 printable coupon available previously
Use 1 doubler coupon
Final price: FREE
Act II popcorn – $.88/ea
Use $1/2 coupon from 6/20 Smartsource (SS) insert
Use 1 Albertson’s doubler coupon

On the Kraft dressing, it is 3 or 5 for the Cat?
SM- it’s 5 for the catalina to print
Sorry for the confusion, SM – you need to buy 5 for the catalina to print, but can only use 3 doublers with 3 of the peelies in the one transaction.
On Friday the only Kraft dressing at $1.34 was Italian. All others more. They did have $1/2 taped to the self.

You’re right, my store had only the Zesty Italian & Ranch (although Ranch had already been cleaned out) at $1.34 – I just made a note of that in the post. You found $1/2 coupons? That’s great!
