And reportedly (just read this in blogs) the catalina prints out right away if you use the self-check, so you can just buy one and use the catalina on it!

When I did this at Safeway, they wouldn’t give me the 3.99 catalina that printed out when I got one for free. They said they aren’t allowed to give them…that seemed REALLY weird to me.
Anyone else have any issues?
From what I understand they stopped giving/printing the coupons out as of Saturday morning-for everyone. I live in Texas and we were getting the deal at HEB. To make it even sweeter we were also getting a box of 100 Calorie packs free too with the Milk. I managed to get 3 free ones and paid less than 2.00 for the other 3
Great deal… too bad it didnt last longer.
