UPDATE:: I just found out that this promotion is NOT available in NW stores!! It’s only available in Midwest & Arizona markets. I apologize for the confusion as it did not say that this was available only in specific markets on their ad. I do always recommend you call your local store to see if they’re participating!
If you live near a Del Taco, head on in there tomorrow, Wednesday May 5th, from 3pm – 8pm for 29 cent tacos! There’s a limit of 12 per person (that’s a lot of tacos!). Find all the details HERE.

After contacting our Boise Del Taco and speaking with Corporate Customer Service I have learned that this deal is not being honored by any NW locations. There is a $0.39 special for Phoenix stores only and the $0.29 special is for 3 other markets in the East and Midwest (Detroit, Charlotte, and one other that I can’t remember). Bummer too, cause I had our entire office forking over dollar bills in excitement.
This is my first time using the advice from thriftyNWmom – is it normal that deals like these are presented without being well researched for availability in the listed markets?

Dan- This was a promotion that was sent out to email subscribers (for their newsletter) & subscribers in the NW (WA & OR that I know of) did receive this email. There was no fine print stating that this offer was only available in certain areas. If you look on Del Taco’s Facebook page & below from Del Taco’s response, they have apologized for the confusion & sent out an email with a coupon for a free taco to those on their email list. With any promotion, though, I always encourage readers to call their local store/restaurant to find out if they’re participating!
I do my best to research all deals as much as possible while still trying to get the information to my readers in a timely manner. However, sometimes promotions do change or locations may not participate (& there may even be a time that I make a mistake & in that case I will notify readers immediately once it’s been brought to my attention). My goal is to run this blog with integrity & honesty & to provide as accurate information as is possible with the information that is available! Hopefully you’ll stay & keep reading & interact on the Facebook Fan Page to find out from other readers what they think of this site!

The Del Taco specials (prices vary) are running today in Detroit, South Bend, Toledo, Pueblo, St. Louis, Colorado Springs, Boiling Springs, Orlando, Phoenix, Flagstaff, Payson, Prescott, and Bullhead City only. Sorry for the confusion. Del Taco

I just received an email saying it was only in the Phoenix market. I sure hope this is not in solidarity with the anti Arizona sentiment. If it is, they just lost me and my family.
