I don’t know about you, but we’ve been doing a lot of spring cleaning & going thru our closets the last month or so. Just trying to cut down on clutter! We were actually hoping to have a garage sale over my husband’s Spring Break last week – but our pretty much non-stop rain during the week derailed our plans. I think we’ll try again sometime in May when the weather will hopefully be better!
Well, if you’ve been needing some inspiration to get busy doing some spring cleaning & going thru your drawers & closets, the Salvation Army is offering you some extra incentive. If you bring in some gently used & clean items anytime from now thru May 31st to the Salvation Army, they will give you a $10 gift certificate to use at a Bass, Izod, or Van Heusen retail location (I’m not sure if this includes outlet stores – you may want to call your local store to see if they’re participating). Find more details HERE. I think this is a great idea to encourage more people to be donating items instead of just trashing them, so they can be put to good use by others & support a great charity at the same time.
Find a Salvation Army location near you HERE and a Izod, Bass, or Van Heusen location near you HERE.
