Mirra Beauty Products Review & Giveaway

March 14, 2010

Welcome to Thrifty NW Mom! If you're new here, you may want to subscribe by your feed reader or by email . Make sure to become a Facebook Fan & follow me on Twitter. Thanks for visiting!

I recently had the opportunity to try out some new beauty care items from Mirra, a new line of health & beauty care products now sold in all Kroger & their  partner stores (Kroger partner stores in the Northwest are Fred Meyer and QFC).  Their new product line offers shampoos, conditioners, hair styling products, body washes, mists, facial & skin care lotions, cleansers & cleaning cloths, eye firming & age defying creams, and cosmetic brushes.  Mirra products are made with natural ingredients such as olive oil, aloe leaf juice, and extracts such as cranberry, bamboo, honey, & chicory root extracts.  Not only do they use natural ingredients, but they also use the latest technology to meet 3 different needs that women have: Daily – routine personal care; Renew – a rejuvenating time out; and Inspire – quick transformations for a night out.

My Experience:

I received an assortment of products to try out and as I opened it, I was pleasantly surprised with the look of the products. They really don’t look like the typical beauty care products that you find in the grocery stores – they look more like products you’d find in a salon.  The products I received ranged from shampoo & conditioner to body wash, deep moisture day cream, body lotion, and wrinkle reducing eye cream.  I have to say that my favorite product is the deep moisture day cream. I have actually been in need of a new face cream and was going to buy a higher-end product as my face gets extremely dry in the winter (but I also have sensitive skin).  I thought I’d see how this one worked first and I have to say that it has been working great and even with sensitive skin, this product has been working very effectively for me.  I like the fact that all of the lotions & creams feel very light & have a soft scent so they are not overpowering.  The prices are very reasonable & they offer generous sizes for their products, which I find very appealing considering their products really do provide results similar to the higher end products I’ve used.  I definitely will be trying these products out further!

$5 off Coupon:

For a limited time, Kroger is offering a $5 off coupon when you purchase any 2 Mirra products.  Mirra products can be found in your Kroger & affiliate stores in the beauty care aisles.
