Michael’s Ladybug Pot Event – Sunday March 14th; 1pm-5pm- Transform an ordinary 3″ clay pot into a garden ladybug. Craft is FREE with purchase of $1 pot
Lakeshore Learning Center – Sat Mar 13th, 11am -3pm; Create a pot of gold bank. Find more details HERE. There is a store in Bellevue, as well as Lake Oswego, OR; none in ID
Local western WA events:
St Patrick’s Day Parade – Downtown Seattle – Traveling north on 4th Ave, starting at Jefferson at 12:30pm, passing by Westlake Center & ending at the Seattle Center with closing ceremonies at 2pm. The monorail will be free from 1:30-2:30pm today as part of the Irish Festival.
Free Irish Festival – SaturdayMarch 13th and Sunday March 14th – Seattle Center House, Fisher Pavilion. This will take place from noon – 6pm. There is no admission fee. There will be Irish music, dancing, cultural displays, Irish language workshops, contests for kids and much more! This sounds like a fun event – if we didn’t have such a busy weekend, I’d definitely be checking this out. Find out more details HERE. FREE Celtic Fair - Puyallup- Saturday March 13th – 11 – 5pm; Events including bagpipes, harps, kilts, mashed potato sculptures and photos with a leprechaun. More details HERE
Baby Legs Sale – Today is the last day of the Baby Legs sale in downtown Seattle – check out more details HERE
Bookblast at Tacoma Mall – Macy’s courtyard from 2-4pm; FREE event with activities, prizes & local celebrities reading children’s books. Kids are invited to bring a new or gently used book to donate to charity. Kidgits members will receive a FREE Kidgits book & the 1st 100 kids will receive a Curious George fun pack.
