Do you all remember that awesome deal I posted about a month ago for two adult memberships to the Woodland Park Zoo for just $40 total? Well, that deal came from an awesome deal site called Living Social. Living Social is a site similar to Groupon in that they post new daily deals for select cities around the country. Typically these deals are 50% off the regular price and they feature deals related to entertainment, relaxation/spa/massage, food/restaurants, shopping & much more. There is a new deal daily and on Fridays, they offer a deal which will last all weekend long to give you more time to take advantage of that deal!
The way it works is that they post a new deal every day! The deal is not live until a certain number of people buy it. Once they reach their minimum, then it is a live deal. However, you have to act fast if you spot a great deal as they can sell out. The Woodland Park Zoo deal did sell out by the evening hours.
The coolest part of Living Social is that if you buy the deal of the day – they will then give you a unique “link” to send out to your friends & family via email, Facebook, Twitter, etc and if at least 3 people end up buying that deal as well – you get it for FREE!! They won’t charge you for the deal that you bought! I know there were readers last time who were able to get the Woodland Park Zoo membership for FREE by referring their friends/family and thanks to you all, I was able to get it for free, too!!! So, I can definitely vouch for the fact that it does work!!
