Wow, here’s a great deal for you using those awesome Hasbro game coupons we talked about earlier. Pictureka is currently on sale at Toys R Us for just $6.98 (thru Saturday). You can combine this sale with the Hasbro game coupon for $5 off Pictureka. The final price will be $1.98 – awesome price for this game! (Currently priced at Amazon for $19). A few other games/toys on sale this week at Toys R Us:
-Giraffalaff Limbo – on sale for $6.98 (normally at least $15 or more)
-Imaginarium 75 pc Wooden Blocks -$9.99
And don’t forget to print the rest of the Hasbro game coupons! I just used more of mine today at Walmart to buy some of the card games (Pictureka, Sorry, & Scrabble-they were out of Monopoly). I also used them successfully at Target last week. One of the card games even had a $5 off coupon inside (after only paying $1.24 for the game) – which means another super-cheap game! Woohoo!
A FB fan, Shirley, had the great idea to use these card games as donations to Children’s Hospitals or other hospitals for older children as they may not have as many options for toys/games for the older children spending a lot of time in hospitals.
Another idea if you aren’t sure what to do with all these card games – they would make great donation ideas for the members of the military serving overseas in Afghanistan or Iraq. The husband of a friend of mine is currently in Afghanistan so we got some of the card games to send to him & his buddies. They are fun ways to pass the time as I can only imagine how boring life must get during their off-duty times when they’re away from loved ones!
As you can see, there are many ways you can use couponing to not only save your family money, but also be able to give generously to others! This is one of the goals of my blog – to not only help my readers get out of debt & save money for your family, but find ways to give back to your community through your couponing & bargain hunting!
I am saving my extra card sets as gifts for Teacher Appreciation week for gifts for the classroom.
