Target is now offering coupons available thru your mobile device, sent as text messages. The text message will contain a barcode which you can use directly at checkout for a one-time use. Tthis is a new offering, so it will be interesting to see what kinds of coupons they have available. It sounds like these will be Target store coupons that could then be paired with manufacturer coupons – but we’ll have to wait to find out more details. You’ll want to make sure you have unlimited text as it could be a number of text emails you receive.

Get your monthly offers via text message with a link to a barcode that can be scanned at checkout. The same barcode can be used for multiple one-time-only coupon deals throughout the month. Offers always arrive on a Sunday.
You can also sign up to receive the Target Weekly Ads and their Daily Deals sent to your mobile phone as well. There is also a Target iPhone App.

I’m definitely excited about the possibility of not having to print quite as many coupons -and if you happen to forget your coupons one day while you’re in the store – you’ll have some options right on your phone!

I’d have to pay for the text message I get, so I’ll wait to see from you all if these are coupons that you can’t otherwise print by printer, then I’ll sign up for the text message coupons.
Please let me know if the texted coupons are different than what you can print online!
