Build-A-Bear Workshops are having a great contest going on right now, where they are searching for “Huggable Heroes“.  These are young leaders (ages 8-18) making positive contributions in their community or around the world.  Build-A-Bear will be selecting 10 Huggable Heroes from the US & Canada to honor them.  They will receive a $7,500 educational scholarship & $2,500 donated to their charity of choice, as well as a trip to the Build-A-Bear headquarters in St Louis to be honored, along with their parents, & participate in a Huggable Heroes Calendar photo shoot.  Head on over HERE to nominate a child for the Huggable Heroes program or you can pick up a form at your local Build-A-Bear store.  You have until February 26, 2010 to nominate a young leader.  What a great way to honor a youth making a difference in your community!
