I did this. Normally wouldn’t have, but because I thought it was free, I did. The webiste gave me a total of 3.99 then subtracted the total once I put the code in. Then once I placed the order it said I owed 4.31. I got to the store and sure enough there was a charge. I had no way to prove it should have been free. The cashier even let me log-in to my account, but it showed I owed the 4 dollars. They were nice enough to split it with me. Be cautious of codes you find on the Internet. If they are not directly from the store, you might end up paying.
Laurel-I’m sorry you had problems with this. This was not a code that came from the Internet – it was a code from Walgreens, so it should have worked. The only reason it may not have worked that I can think of is if you didn’t have it in all caps, or had picked a different option than in-store, but it doesn’t sound like that was the case. I used this successfully myself & my husband picked it up & didn’t have to pay anything.
