We got the Tag System for Christmas for our daughter who had just turned 5 in Nov. I think what she likes best about it is the Learn to Read kits we got for her that contain 6 books. She loves to "read" these & feels like such a grownup & has to show everyone how she can "read." :) The other story books aren't that exciting to her; I thought she would love being able to read "Olivia," "Cat in the Hat," etc. but she's not into them like she is the learn to read books.

And I agree...while this is a fun toy, it's simply that...a toy. It will never compare to a parent & child reading together. I just think of it as a bonus to our regular reading routine.
