Amazon is no exception – each week they have several magazines you can order for just $5 for a one-year subscription! The magazines this week are devoted to healthy living!

Another item that is a *hot* seller this time of year is Jillian Michaels – 30 Day Shred DVD. I will admit that I have not tried this before, but I’ve decided that I’m going to give it a try & see how it goes. I’m one who does better exercising at a gym or in an exercise class because I need the accountability/motivation of exercising with others – but that is not really an option right now due to scheduling and finances, so I’m going to give this exercise DVD a try! I’d love to hear your thoughts if you use this program -both positive & negative! Or if you have other programs that you use at home that you love!
Right now, Amazon has Jillian Michaels – 30 Day Shred for $8.99 – this is $1 cheaper than Target or Walmart (at least in my area) and the bonus is that you can use your Amazon Gift cards from Swagbucks. But, I’ve also heard from a friend that Costco has this DVD for $7.99 and she reported that the recent coupon flyer has a $4 off coupon, which would make it $3.99 (a great price). I haven’t located my coupon flyer to see if the coupon is still good, but I wanted to let you know in case you have it & want to check that out.

I have Jillian's 30 day shred and have been doing it since Sept. Minus most of Dec. because I was sick forever.
Just keep going and you will see results. I have noticed firmer legs, stomach and arms and have lost 10 lbs so far (10 more to go). It's about 25 minutes start to finish, so it's totally doable. I have three kids under 6 so it's hard to get a workout in. I've been able to do this 4-5 times a week. Give it a try!
Anyway, I love it. She really kicks your butt. Stick with it and do everything as hard as you can, push yourself even when you feel like your going to die. When it hurts the next day you know your doing something right.
wonder if backpacker's gonna sound good as it is?!

Thanks for the encouragement, Janae! I'm excited to get started! I'll let you know how it goes! I'm definitely out of shape, so I'm sure I'll be hurting quite a bit in the beginning!
Willie-My husband liked Backpacker -it has great recommendations for gear, locations, etc if you're really into hiking and/or backpacking.
