As I mentioned over the weekend, Target has been marking down many areas of their clearance and the big toy clearance event is now going on!! I have heard numerous reports that Targets around the country now have their toy clearance items at 75% off. Now, it does vary by store – and some of you may have already been finding toys (and other items) on the 75% clearance all week! But, it sounds like a lot of the stores marked EVEN more down today!! I tell ya, if it wasn’t Old Navy Weekly night and having to monitor the chat room, I’d be rushing out there right now to check!! This sale only comes twice a year (typically) –usually in late January and late July!! So, now is the time to STOCK UP for Christmas presents, birthday gifts, you name it!! We were in Target on Monday night (one of our many places to head to stay cool in the evenings) and although most of the toys were marked down, we did find some great deals! They had a number of summer items marked at 75% off and we even found an awesome cooler for 75% off!! However, none of the coolers at this particular store were even marked with a discount at all! But, I’d heard from a friend that she had gotten a great deal on them….so, we just picked a few to randomly scan! What do you know, one of the $39.99 Igloo coolers scanned at $9.99. None of the others we tried were discounted at all, though! So, you just never know – if you hear of discounts at other stores, then you might want to try scanning those items to see if there’s a discount!!

i am leaving in a few to go to targeet to check it out…i am actually nervous that there wont be anything lefrt….how is that possible that I would be nervous? lol anyway, this is the first chance I am getting since my MIL is comoing to geet the kids for a few hours, so wish me luck…will let u know what I find…i may have to go to the other town to check theirs out…for some reason, people must not bargain shop in that town. Must have money! lol
Ha-ha! I'm the SAME way – DYING to go here in a few minutes but afraid all the good stuff's gone! The good thing is I'm up north and hoping people may not have heard about the clearance sale up here! Doubtful! Hopefully there might be something left–I'll let you know when I get back!
